At Bone & Harvest, our journey began with a change in our own lives. As a family, we decided to eat better—choosing higher-quality organic foods, cooking with natural ingredients, and cutting out anything artificial. We saw how much better we felt when we fueled ourselves with real food. It only made sense to give our dogs the same.
When we brought home our Rottweiler puppy, Heidi, the commitment became personal. From day one, we promised to feed her nothing less than human-grade food. But when we went to the stores, we were disappointed. The options were expensive, filled with fillers like rice and grains, and far from the fresh, wholesome nutrition we wanted for her.
So, we did it ourselves. In our own kitchen, we began sourcing high-quality meats, grinding fresh cuts, balancing recipes with organ meats and bone, and portioning meals to freeze for Heidi. The difference was undeniable—her coat shined, her energy soared, and her overall health flourished. Friends and family noticed, and before long, they were asking if they could feed their dogs the same way.
That’s how Bone & Harvest was born: out of love for our family, both human and canine.
